3 cups of flour 1/2 box dark raisins
3 tsp baking powder 1/2 box light raisins
1 1/2 tsp salt 2 eggs slightly beaten
1/2 cup sugar 3 tbls shortening
2 level tbls caraway seeds 1 1/2 cups of milk or buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all dry ingredients together. Mix beaten eggs, melted shortening and milk. Add to dry ingredients, mix well. Put in greased loaf pan & bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr.
