1 (8 oz.) pkg medium noodles
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. tomato sauce
1 c. cottage cheese
1 c. sour cream
6 green onions, chopped
3/4 c. cheddar cheese, grated

Cook noodles until tender in boiling salted water. Drain. Melt butter in skillet. Cook ground beef in butter, stirring until red color is gone. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onions and noodles. Alternate layers of noodle mixture and beef mixture in 2 qt. casserole dish. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350F for 30 minutes or until browned on top.
Makes 6 to 8 servings.
