3 ½ cups flour
1/8 cups sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon cream of tarter
1/3 cups melted margarine
2 eggs whites
1 1/8 cups milk, (add the 1 cup first, then add 1/8 if needed)

Directions:
Directions:
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and cream of tarter in a large mixing bowl. Add the rest of the ingredients, and stir until ingredients are moistened, careful not to overmix. Knead, and add enough flour for desired consistency. Roll ¾” thick and use a glass to cut into biscuits. Place on greased cookie sheet.

These became a regular in the Warden household after we kids grew up. By then, we were all making mom’s biscuits for our own kids. Light and fluffy, and literally a mile high.
