lettuce (may use bagged lettuce)
chopped celery
chopped onion
2 cans mandarin oranges

for topping:
1/2 cup slivered almonds
3 T sugar
Chinese noodles

for dressing:
1/3 cup oil
3 T sugar
3 T vinegar
1 T parsley
salt & pepper
Frank's Red HotŠ sauce, to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In a pan on low, add 3 topping ingredients. Heat until sugar melts & coats the almonds & noodles, stirring often. Remove from heat & let cool.

Mix lettuce, celery, onion, & mandarin oranges in a large salad bowl.

Combine dressing ingredients, mixing well.

Just before serving, toss salad with topping & dressing.
