· 1/4 cup butter (no subs),
· 2 1/2 cups fresh corn kernels,
· 1/2 cup half-and-half cream,
· 1 tablespoon cornstarch,
· 1 tablespoon sugar,
· 1 teaspoon salt (or to taste, I use seasoned salt for this),
· black pepper

Directions:

1. In a large skillet over medium heat melt the butter.
2.Stir in the corn kernels and the half and half cream; mix to combine.
3.Sprinkle with cornstarch, sugar and salt; bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
4.Reduce heat and simmer stirring occasionally for about 10-12 minutes.
5.Season with black pepper to taste.
