1/4 cup margarine
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup whole milk
1 cup flour 1 tsp. baking powder
1 qt. pealed, sliced peaches, lightly sugared
2 T. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
TOPPING:
cream margarine and sugar. Add egg and beat well.
Add milk. Mix in flour and baking soda.
Double the topping mix for a nicer topping.

FRUIT MIX:
Combine peaches and lemon juice. Place in baking dish. Spoon the batter over the peaches.
Bake at 375º until the crust is golden brown, about 30 - 40 minutes.

NOTE: Do not leave it on top of car, on way to the cookout!
