1lb. 90% lean ground beef or turkey
3 c. finely shredded cabbage or prepared coleslaw mix
1 medium onion, chopped
1/4 c. chopped green pepper
1 c. ketchup
3 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. white vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. molasses
8 sandwich rolls

In a large skillet, cook the beef, cabbage, onion, celery and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink and veggies are crisp and tender. Drain. Stir in the ketchup, brown sugar, lemon juice, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, molasses and pepper. Cover and simmer 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Spoon 1/2 c. onto each roll.
Makes 8 servings.
