4 egg yolks
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup boiling water
1 1/2 cup flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
4 egg whites, stiffly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg yolks until very thick, gradually add sugar and continue beating. Add water, mix well and add sifter dry ingredients. Mix until smooth and add vanilla, fold in egg whites and bake in a 10 inch ungreased spring form pan at 350º for 50 min to 1 hour. Invert to cool.

Serve with strawberries and whipped cream.
