2/3 cup shortening
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon maple flavoring
1 3/4 cup sifted flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4.teaspoon soda
2 cup Rice Crispies cereal
top with chocolate chips

Directions:

1. Cream shortening and sugar.
2. Add egg, milk, and flavoring. Stir well.
4. Add dry ingredients and cereal.
5. Grease cookie sheet. Bake 375º 10 minutes or longer.
