1/4 C. STEEL-CUT OATS
2 t. BAKING POWDER
1/2 t. SALT
1/2 t. CINNAMON OR NUTMEG
1/4 C. SUGAR
1/4 C. BROWN SUGAR

2 C. MILK
1 EGG BEATEN
1/3 C. APPLESAUCE
1/4 C. OIL

2 C. FRESH FRUIT

YOGURT, MILK OR CREAM

PREHEAT OVEN TO 400 DEGREES. LIGHTLY GREASE 2 QT. SOUFFLE DISH. IN LGE. BOWL, COMBINE FIRST 8 INGRED. AND MIX WITH WIRE WHISK, SET ASIDE. IN MED. BOWL, COMBINE NEXT 4 INGRED. ADD TO OAT MIXTURE AND STIR UNTIL JUST COMBINED, PLACE INTO BAKING DISH. bAKE UNCOVERED FOR 20 MIN., REMOVE FROM OVEN AND GENTLY FOLD IN FRUIT. bAKE UNCOVERED FOR ANOTHER 20 MIN. OR UNTIL TOP IS LIGHTLY BROWNED.
