Several potatoes, washed, boil, and peeled
milk, about half cup warmed in the microwave.
salt & pepper
a little sprinkle of garlic
stick of butter
1 teaspoon baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and boil potatoes. Cut into fourths and place in a large pot of water. Water should cover a least 2 inches above potatoes. When tender drain. Put pot back on the stove and allow all the water to dry making sure the flame is very low. Cover and add the butter, garlic, salt and pepper. Don't mix just allow to sit for a few minutes. Mash with potato masher masher first, then use a mixer, to then whip while adding boiling milk and baking powder as you mix.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This is especially for Tricia, because she always raved about my mashed potatoes. I thought they tasted as good as any body else's, but she was of a different opinion. After marring Javier, Diana, and Josie loved them too. I tried making different types of potatoes for Thanksgiving, but they just wouldn't have it.
