1 tsp. cumin seed
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. chili powder
1 small onion, chopped
1 tbsp. oil
2 large tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped fine
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 lb. dried black beans, washed
1 small bay leaf
water
1/2 lb. muenster cheese, shredded
3/4 c. sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
In a large saucpan, saute onion in oil until tener. stir in tomatoes, chili powder, pepper, garlic, salt, paprika, cumin, and oregano. Simmer 15 minutes to blend flavors. Add beans, bay leaf, and enough water to cover by 3 inches (about 4 cups). Bring to boil. Cover and simmer about 2 hours, till tender. Discard bay leaf. Divide cheese among 6 serving bowls. Ladle hot soup over cheese. Top each bowl with sour cream.
