1lb. lean groud beef
1 egg
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup minced onion
1/4 cup tomatoe sauce
1 tsp. dried parsley flakes
1/2 tsp. crumbled dried basil
1/4 tsp. garlic salt, 1/8 tsp. pepper

Combine all ingredients in large mixing bowl, blending well with hands; shape into 1 1/2-in balls.
arrange in 9 in. glass pie plate. Microwave 6 to 10 mins., rearranging halfway through cooking time, and rotating dish several times until meat is no longer pink. Let stand 3 mins. Drain off fat before serving. Meatballs maybe added to your favorite sauce and served over pasta.

You can also bake meatballs in 350 degree oven for about 15 to 20 mins. rotating halfway through cooking time so they brown evenly. Use broiler pan with non-stick cooking spray
