3 lbs. pig hocks
4 lbs. chicken
1 lb. ground beef and
1/2 lb. ground pork( for meatballs)
1 oz. whole allspice
1 medium onion, cut up
3 cups of flour

Directions:
Directions:
Cover pig hocks with water in large kettle, let come to a boil for 30 mins. add salt and pepper to taste, add 1 meium onion and simmer for three hours. Add cut up chicken and let simmer until chicken is cooked (while simmering drop in cheese cloth bag filled with 1 oz. whole allspice.)
brown 3 cups flour in oven, mix with cold water to make a paste. Pour paste into kettle and stir until thickened.
For meatballs: mix hamburg and pork, season with salt and pepper, roll in flour and fry until browned, add to kettle. Delicious when warmed over!
