12 cabbage leaves
1 1/4 lbs of ground beef
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup cooked rice
1 egg
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 tsp puultry seasoning or thyme
2 tbsp of Wesson oil
2 8-oz cans Hunt's Tomato Sauce
1 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 cup of water
1 tsp lemon juice or vinegar

Cover cabbage leaves with boiling water and let stand for 5 minutes or until limp, drain. Combine the first 7 ingrediants. Place equal portions of meat mixture in center of each leaf. Fold side of each leaf over meat, roll up and fasten with toothpicks or string. Brown in hot oil in large skillet. Pour in Hunt's Tomato Sauce. Combine sugar, water and lemon juice. Stir in Tomato sauce. Simmer covered for one hour, basting occassionally.
