1 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/2 c. crisco
1 t. soda
2 eggs
1/2 t. salt
1/4 c. soured milk
1 t. vanilla
3 bananas, mashed (4 if small)

Directions:
Directions:
Grease two 8" loaf pans.
Cream sugar and Crisco. Stir in eggs and soured milk. Stir in mashed bananas. Sift dry ingredients together and add to mixture.
Bake at 350º for 35-40 min. or until toothpick inserted near center comes out clean. Cool 10 min. in pan, then on wire rack. (Note: To make sour milk, add 1 t. vinegar.)
Makes 2 small loaves, very moist.
You may add chocolate chips & nuts, if desired.
