1 egg beaten
1/3 to 1/2 C. grated onion
1/2 C. Bread Crumbs
1/2 tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Allspice
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp white pepper
1 lb. round steak
1/2 lb.pork
1/3 to 1/2 C whipping cream or half and half
butter or margarine

Directions:
Directions:
Combine egg, onion, bread crumbs, sugar, allspice, salt and pepper in mixing bowl. Grind together round steak and pork. (Nowadays you have this done at the butchers or buy it ground)
Add egg mixture and mix well.
Add enough cream to bind the mixture together. Melt butter in frying pan. Have a cup of cold water on the stove beside the meat mixture. Moisten palms of hands with water before rolling each meatball. Fry meatballs in melted butter using medium heat. Brown on all sides until done.
Makes 5-6 servings.
