1/3 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
3 ripe bananas
2 c. flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sour cream
3/4 c. chppoed walnuts
Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugar, eggs, vanilla and bananas. Combine dry ingredients. Add this to cream mixture with sour cream. Add nuts. Grease & flour 10" fluted pan. Bake at 350º for approx. 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Sprinke with conf. sugar if desired.

I also use loaf pans to bake in. The sour cream really makes this moist.
