German's Chocolate Brownies Recipe

1 pkg. (4 oz.) Baker’s German’s Sweet Chocolate
1/4 cup margarine or butter
3/4 cup packed brown sugar, divided
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1 cup chopped pecans, divided
1-1/3 cups coconut
1/4 cup milk

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350-degrees. Grease 8-inch square pan. Microwave chocolate and butter on high for 1-1/2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir to melt chocolate. Stir 1/2 cup of the brown sugar into chocolate until well blended. Mix in eggs. Stir in flour and 1/2 cup of the pecans. Spread in pan.

Topping:
Mix coconut, remaining 1/4 cup brown sugar and remaining 1/2 cup of pecans in same bowl. Stir in milk until well blended. Spoon mixture evenly over brownie batter. Bake 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out with fudgy crumbs. DO NOT OVERCOOK. Cool in pan. Cut into squares.
