1 lb ground beef
1 envelope dry onion soup mix
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup uncooked white rice
16 oz canned tomatoes, undrained
1 cup grated Cheddar cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Brown the meat and drain.
Place it in a sauce pot.
Stir in the soup, water, rice and tomatoes.
Bring this to a boil.
Simmer, covered, for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender.
Stir in the cheese.
Serve.

Don't be fooled by the word "slop". This recipe tastes pretty good.
