2 pkg. dry yeast 1 tsp. salt
1/2 C. lukewarm water 1/2 C. cold water
1 C milk, scalded 3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 C shortening 1 C. cornmeal
1/2 C. sugar 5-6 C. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine yeast & lukewarm water
Pour scalded milk over shortning, sugar, & salt until melts
Add cold water- stir in 2 C. flour & eggs. Add yeast and cornmeal. Beat until smooth. Stir in enough flour to make soft dough. Turn out on board to knead (abt. 10 min.) Place in well-greased bowl, cover,& raise in warm place until double in size. Pounch down. Brush w/ melted shortening, cover & refrigerate overnight. Remove from fridge 3 hors. before baking. Roll, but & shape. Raise Bake at 400º for 15-20 min.
