2 large pears, peeled
1-3/4 cups flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 cup softened butter
1 cup sugar
1-1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 large eggs
1 (8 oz.) container sour cream

Topping:
1-1/2 cups finely chopped walnuts
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup light brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup butter
1 Tbsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350-degrees. Grease a 13x9-inch pan.
Core and coarsely chop pears and set aside. Combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla in a mixing bowl at high speed with mixer until light and fluffy. Add eggs and sour cream to batter; beat at low speed until combined. Add the flour mixture and beat at low speed until combined and stir in pears. Spoon into the prepared pan. Combine topping ingredients until crumbly and sprinkle over batter. Bake 50 minutes or until done.
