2/3 cup butter, 2/3 cup flour, 1 1/2 cups chicken broth, 1 quart half-and-half, 1/2 cup milk, 1 tablespoon parsley,
1 tablespoon Old Bay seasoning (or more to taste),
2 pounds of crab meat, Sherry (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Melt butter in large stock pot.
2. Stir in flour slowly and blend until smooth.
3. Slowly stir in broth, constantly stirring, then simmer for 2 minutes.
4. Slowly stir in half-and-half and milk. Stir until thickened, which will take a little time.
5. Add remaining ingredients, except sherry.
6. Heat over low flame until hot.
7. Sever with sherry on side.
8. If soup is too thick, add another 1/2 cup of milk.
