1 cup sugar
1 cup corn syrup
1 stick butter
½ teaspoon salt
3 eggs, beaten
1½ teaspoons vanilla
2 cups pecans, coarsely broken
1 unbaked 8 inch pastry shell

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together sugar, syrup, butter and salt. Put over medium heat and cook until dissolved. While this is cooking, beat eggs until they foam. Mix all ingredients together and pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake in 325º oven 30 to 40 minutes or until set.
