Ingredients:  
3/4 c shortening
2 eggs
1 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
21/2 c flour
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Blend in flour, baking powder and salt
Cover and chill 1 hour
Roll 1/8" thick and cut in shapes
Bake at 350º on ungreased cookie sheet til brown(10 min)

Gram would make this dough every December and we would cut and decorate Christmas cookies. This was a tradition the girls and I carried on when they were growing up.
