4 cups milk
5 tablespoons flour (heaping)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 whole eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla
16 oz vanilla wafers
4 bananas, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the milk, flour, sugar, and eggs in a 3 quart saucepan.
Whisk this pudding mixture constantly over medium heat until slightly thickened, about 5-7 minutes. When thickened, the mixture should coat the back of a spoon. (add additional milk if mixture becomes too thick).
Remove the pudding mixture from the heat. Strain it to remove any egg that may have cooked; add the vanilla; stir.
Chill the pudding in the refrigerator for ~1 hour or until it has the consistency of a pudding.
In a large serving bowl, alternate layers of pudding, wafers, and banana slices. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
