5-6 apples (early macintoch or other firm apples) cut into 1/8th inch thick slices
1 cup flour
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
cinnamon
lemon juice
pinch of salt
1 1/4 sticks margarine melted and cooled
1 egg slightly beaten

Directions:
Directions:
Peel and slice apples into 1/8 inch thick slices. Mound all of the apples into the center of a greased pie plate. Sprinkle with cinnamon and 1/2 of the sugar mixture (white and brown sugars mixed together), lemon juice, and salt all over the apples.

In a seperate bowl, mix the flour, the last of the sugar mixture, pinch of salt, egg, and margarine until texture of pancake batter.

Spoon over apples as evenly as possible.

Bake 45 minutes in 350º oven or until nice and brown.
