6 eggs, beaten
2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dry mustard
4 or 5 slices day-old bread, cubed
1 lb. sasuage, cooked, drained and crumbled
1 c. cheese, grated (I prefer sharp cheddar)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix eggs, milk, salt and dry mustard. Place cubed bread in a 9 x 13-inch greased baking dish. Add layer of sausage, then egg mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Before cooking sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes.

I've tried them all and this recipe is the best. You can also make this with bacon or canadian bacon or a mix of all three. Just keep the meat to no more than 1 lb.

This is especially good for "company" breakfast. Serve with fruit and muffins.
