1 to 1-1/2 lb. Beef Stew Meat, cubed
4-5 medium Potatoes, peeled and cut in 1-inch cubes
4 Carrots, peeled and cut in 1-inch cubes
1 envelope Dry Onion Soup mix
6 oz. Tomato paste
1/2 C. Water
1/4 tsp. Black Pepper
1/2 tsp. Seasoning Salt
1/4 tsp. dry Mustard
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. Bacon bits
1 Tbsp. Brown sugar
3 C. Water
1 C. frozen Peas and/or Corn, thawed

Directions:
Place beef in a 3-1/2 to 6 qt. crock pot or slow cooker. Add potatoes and carrots. In a saucepan, place all remaining ingredients, except peas and/or corn; and simmer until bubbly. Remove from heat and pour over meat, potatoes, and carrots. Cover and cook on Low for about 12 hours (or High for 6 hours). Add more water if needed. Add peas or corn, about 20 minutes before serving.
