2 c sugar
1 c salad oil
2 c raisin juice
2 tsp baking powder
4 c flour
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1 box raisens

CARMEL FROSTING:
2c brown sugar
½ c butter or oleo
½ c cream or can milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook raisin for 10 min and save 2 c of the water after cooking. Combine sugar and oil. Combine dry ingredients. Add baking soda to raisin water. Add alternately, raisin water and dry ingredients to sugar and oil. Add cooled raisins last. Bake on 400 degrees for 40-45 min. – CARMEL FROSTING: combine sugar, butter and milk. Stir until dissolved, then boil without stirring 3-5 min until soft ball stage (238 deg) . Remove from heat until cool and thick. Teat in vanilla
