1 c butter, softened
1 c Crisco
1 1/2 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
1 large egg
1 1/2 t vanilla
3 T water
2 c smooth peanut butter
4 3/4 c flour
2 t baking soda
1 t salt

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream together butter, Crisco, sugars, egg, vanilla and water. Stir in peanut butter. Sift dry ingredients together; stir into creamed mixture. Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Press with back of floured fork to make criss crosses. Bake at 375º for 11-12 minutes for small cookes; 12-15 minutes for large cookies. FYI - large cookies hold together better. Enjoy!!
