1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup shortening
2 cups sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
3/4 tsp baking soda
3/4 cup Hershey's cocoa
1 3/4 cup clour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
1 3/4 cup milk

Cream butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy; blend in eggs. Combine baking soda, cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt in bowl; add, alternating with milk, to flour. Blend well. Pour into greased and floured pans. Bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes.
