Ingredients:  
4 cups coarsely chopped apples
2 cups sugar
Combine apples and sugar and let stand.
2 eggs
½ cup oil
2 tsp vanilla
Beat eggs slightly; beat in oil and vanilla

2 cups sifted flour
2 tsp cinnamon
2 tsp soda
1 tsp salt
Mix and sift flour, soda, cinnamon and salt. Stir in alternately with apple-sugar mixture.
1 cup chopped black walnuts.

Stir in walnuts. Pour into greased and floured tube pan or bundt pan. Bake at 350F for about 1 hour. Let stand until cool. Turn out on rack to complete cooling.
