2 c. raisins
1 c. water
1 egg
1 c. sugar
2 c. cream
2 T. cornstarch


Dough:
3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
water
sugar

Simmer the raisins and water about 10 min. Water may disappear. Mix the remaining ingredients and add to the raisin mixture. Bring to a boil and cook until thick. Cool some and add vanilla.

Dough:

Mix ingredients together as for a pie crust. Add just enough water to make a soft dough. Roll into small rounds and fill. Sprinkle with sugar and prick with a fork. Bake at 350º for 30 to 35 minutes.
