1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar, finely packed
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
4 large eggs
1/2 c. skim milk
12 slices french bread, 1" thick

Directions:
Directions:
Turn the burner to low and melt the butter in a large baking pan. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Sprinkle the mixture evenly over the melted butter in the baking pan.

With fork, mix eggs and milk in a bowl. Dip bread slices into the egg mixture and lay over the cinnamon mixture in pan. Pour remaining egg mixture over the bread slices. Cover pan with foil and refrigerate overnight.

Remove pan from refrigerator 1 hour before baking to let it reach room temperature. Preheat oven to 375º F. Bake 25 minutes, covered with foil. Remove foil and bake 15 minutes longer. Serve immediately.
