1 package of hot dogs any variety (Beef, Pork, Chicken, Turkey) Anything with ears, snouts and chicken lips will do.

1 package of tortillas - the original recipe called for corn, but flour is also tasty

you can also use shredded jack and cheddar cheese if you want to

Salsa, sour cream or Guacamole

Heat up some oil in a skillet or deep fryer. The amount is not critical. If you don't want to totally submerse the taquitos you can use 1/2 of oil and turn them durring the frying process.

Take a hotdog and wrap it in a tortilla. If you want to you can put some shredded cheese in the tortilla also although I must warn you that some of the cheese will leak out into the oil when it melts.
Use tongs and put the taquito in the oil holding it with the tongs for about 15 seconds or until the tortilla does not come unwrapped. Cook it for about a minute if submerged or to the desired doneness. The hotdog will cook in the process .

drain taquitos on paper towells to absorb excess grease and serve with your favorite salsa, guacamole, or sour cream. If you did not put the cheese in the taquito you can put it on top of a few and heat it in the nuker until it melts.
