2 1/2 lb. beef tips - trimmed of most fat 1 pkg. dry beef/onion soup mix 1 can of cream of mushroom soup 1 can (10 oz.) sliced mushrooms 1 1/2 c. red wine - can use rose wine
Put meat in a heavy dutch oven. Mix other ingredients and pour over meat. Cover and bake @ 300 for 3 hours. (Do not uncover during baking.) Add salt & pepper after baking. Serve over noodles, rice, or cornbread.
