"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º Mix all ingredients together, adding the water last until the ingredients will easily stick together as a loaf. Be a little judicious with the bread crumbs. Form the meat into a loaf and put into a standard size loaf pan. Optional: Spread some ketchup or Bar-B-Q sauce on top of the loaf. Cook for 50-60 minutes until cooked through but the top is browned well but still tender. Serve with Mac and Cheese or potatoes.

Personal Notes:
I made up this recipe when faced with a pound of frozen ground venison. What to do, what to do? I'm not a huge venison fan BUT this made up version is really good and doesn't have the weird after-taste that venison can have. This recipe multiples really well and you could make venison burgers instead. it's man tested and approved too! I suggest that if you have a Kitchen Aid mixer, you use it, that really cuts your prep time down to next to nothing. As a matter of fact, get a Kitchen Aid mixer -- they totally rock!
