Directions:Preheat oven to 350º Mix all ingredients together, adding the water last until the ingredients will easily stick together as a loaf. Be a little judicious with the bread crumbs. Form the meat into a loaf and put into a standard size loaf pan. Optional: Spread some ketchup or Bar-B-Q sauce on top of the loaf. Cook for 50-60 minutes until cooked through but the top is browned well but still tender. Serve with Mac and Cheese or potatoes. |

Notes: I made up this recipe when faced with a pound of frozen ground venison. What to do, what to do? I'm not a huge venison fan BUT this made up version is really good and doesn't have the weird after-taste that venison can have. This recipe multiples really well and you could make venison burgers instead. it's man tested and approved too! I suggest that if you have a Kitchen Aid mixer, you use it, that really cuts your prep time down to next to nothing. As a matter of fact, get a Kitchen Aid mixer -- they totally rock!
