1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. butter
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. baking soda
3 very ripe bananas
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
1c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/ tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Add lemon juice to milk to sour it and set aside. Cream butter and sugar. Add beaten egg and sour milk. Stir. Add flour, soda, and salt and mix well. Mash bananas and add to mixture with nuts and vanilla. Mix. Pour into greased and floured small loaf pans (2).

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until done. Cool.

I used 1/4 c butter , 1/4 c. smashed pears and 3/4 c. sugar, to cut down on the fat and sugar.
