1 1/4 cups Butter (2-1/2 sticks) room temperature,
3/4 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
1/2 cup Sugar
1 Egg
1 tsp Vanilla
1 1/2 cups Flour (unsifted)
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/8 tsp Nutmeg
1 - 12oz bag Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
3 cups Oats (uncooked)
1 cup Nuts (chopped)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. Cream butter with sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. Stir flour with baking soda, salt and spices; add to creamed mixture, mixing well. Stir in oats. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto Ungreased cookie sheets. Bake 8 to 9 minutes for chewy cookie, 10 to 11 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, before removing to cooling racks. Store in tightly covered container.
