1 c. butter
1 c. water
2 tbsp. baking cocoa
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. buttermilk
1 tsp. banilla
2 eggs

Frosting:
3 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. baking cocoa
3 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3 to 4 tbsp. milk

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, bring butter, water and cocoa to a boil. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add cocoa mixture; mix well. Combine buttermilk and vanilla; add to batter and mix well. Beat in eggs. Pour into a greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350º for 23 to 27 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir butte and cocoa until smooth. Remove from the heat. In a small mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar and vanilla. Add cocoa mixture and enough milk until frosting reaches desired consistency. Frost cake.
