1/2 cup shrtening
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream first four ingredients, add egg, milk, and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Shape into balls roll in sugar. Bake at 375º for 8 minutes, remove form oven and place a solid milk chocolate candy kiss on top of each, pressing down so that cookie cracks. Return to oven and bake 2 to 5 minutes longer.
