2 quarts whole milk, scalded
2 T. flour
2 cups sugar
6 eggs, beaten
1/2 t. salt
2 T vanilla
1 large can evaporated milk

Directions:
Directions:
Scald 2 quarts milk, skim off that skinny layer. Mix together flour, sugar, salt & beaten eggs with mixer. Add slowly to scalded milk & cook til thick like custard. Cool the mixture. When ready to freeze, add 2 T. vanilla and one can evaporated milk. Churn in ice cream freezer.
