1 29 oz can sliced peaches (do not drain
1 cup sugar
1/8 tsp salt
2 T baking powder
3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp almond flavoring
1/2 cup sugar mixed with 2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:

Mix all dry ingredients. Stir in milk and beat. Melt butter in 9" baking dish. Pour batter over melted butter. Do not stir. Pour peaches with juice and almond extract over this. Sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over peaches. Bake one hour at 350º.

This was a favorite recipe of Grandmother's. She could have one of these in the oven in no time. It is really good with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
