2 1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c white syrup
2 stiffly beaten egg whites
Directions:
Directions:
Bring white syrup and sugar to a boil (245º), stirring very little. Pour this syrup mixture slowly over the beaten egg whites, beating the mixture as you are pouring. When the candy peaks and holds a peak, drop by teaspoons on to wax paper. If flavoring or coloring is desired, add just before dropping onto the wax paper. Store in loosely covered container, in a cool place.
