9 eggs
3 cups half & half or milk
1/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp rum extract
24 slices french bread (3/4 inches thick)

Directions:
Directions:
Grease two 15 x 10 x 1 baking pans
Mix all stuff but bread. Put bread in pans, pour egg mixture over bread. Cover with foil, refrigerate overnight or freeze up to 1 week. Heat oven to 500º. Remove from fridge (do not thaw if frozen) Remove foil, bake 1 pan at 500º for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered. Repeat with second pan. If both pans are baked at same time, switch half way through.
