1/4 cup slivered almonds
1 tbsp and 1 tsp sugar
1/4 head lettuce torn
1/4 bunch Romaine lettuice
2 medium stalks celery, chopped
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1 can mandarine oranges, drained

Dressing:
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp vinegar
1 tbsp snipped parsley
1/2 tsp salt
dash pepper
Shake all ingredients in tightly covered jar. Refrigerate.

Directions:
Directions:
Cook almonds and sugar over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar is melted and almonds coated. Put salad together just before serving.
