3 lbs. lean pork
1 T. garlic salt
1 t. pepper
1/4 C olive oil
1/2 C vinegar
1/4 C soy sauce
4 finely chopped garlic cloves
1/2 C 7up or ginger ale
1/4 C sherry or beer

Bamboo skewers

Directions:

1. Cut pork into 1/2" pieces or cubes.

2. Mix all ingredients together with meat. Cover and marinate overnight in fridge.

3. If using bamboo skewers, soak in water a few hours so it does not burn easily.

4. Thread meat on skewers (carefully) and grill uncovered, over medium heat or broil 4 in. from the heat for 5 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness, basting frequently with reserved marinade.
