1 c chopped celery
1 medium onion, chopped
2 T butter
2 T flour
7 c chicken broth
1 c creamy peanut butter
1 c milk or half and half
chopped chives, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Saute celery and onion in butter in a large Dutch oven until tender; add flour, stirring until smooth. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add chicken broth; bring mixture to a boil. Add peanut butter and milk; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring constantly (do not boil). Garnish soup with chives, if desired. Serve hot.
