1 pkg (20 oz) Jennie-O Turkey Store® Extra Lean Ground Turkey
1 cup onion, coarsely chopped
1 medium red bell pepper, cut into 1/4-inch cubes
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
1 Tbsp chili powder
1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
1 1/2 tsp ground coriander
1/2 tsp ground oregano
1/2 tsp dried marjoram
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1 can (16 oz) canned low sodium whole tomatoes, drained and coarsely chopped
8 oz tomato sauce
1 can (16 oz) black beans, drained or rinsed
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
4 Tbsp low-fat shredded cheddar cheese

Directions:

In a large stockpot, combine turkey, onion, red pepper, garlic, jalapeno peppers, chili powder, cumin, coriander, oregano, marjoram, red pepper flakes and cinnamon.


Cook mixture over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until turkey is no longer pink. Stir in tomatoes and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 5 minutes. Stir in beans and cilantro. continue cooking for an additional 5 minutes. Served topped with cheese. Makes about 10 cups.
